Petter Abrahamsen

Petter was a career officer for 28 years before he decided to see if he was “agile” enough to use his training and experience from the armed forces in other organisation’s.
He has insight in: teaching, HR, military operations, leadership and politics, project management, safety and security, quality assurance, contingency planning, evolving and deploying strategy, process improvement and restructuring organisation’s.
He is currently working for a Norwegian governmental organisation as a senior adviser.

The first agile manifesto value states the importance of “Individuals and interactions over processes and tools”
Why is it then that we seem to use some much time learning and training processes and tools - and so little time learning and training how individuals and groups function.
Drawing on his experiences from the military and civilian sector, Petter will speak about what it takes build and maintain highly efficient self-organising teams.
